Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin (DFW) is a farmer-owned, non-profit marketing organization established in 1983. Funded entirely by Wisconsin dairy farmers—with a per-hundredweight checkoff—it's directed by a 25-member board elected by farmers. Its mission is to increase demand and consumption of Wisconsin dairy products through marketing, research, education, export support, and advocacy.
Products
- Wisconsin Aged Cheddar : A bold and complex cheese aged from 1 to over 15 years. Known for its sharp, nutty flavor and crumbly texture, it’s a favorite among cheese lovers worldwide and frequently wins international awards.
- Wisconsin Colby : Created in Wisconsin in 1885, Colby is a mild, creamy, and semi-soft cheese with a bright orange color. It’s similar to cheddar but moister and softer, often used in slices, cubes, or melts.
