Amul (GCMMF)

Founded in 1946 in Anand, Gujarat, Amul is the central body of the Gujarat Coop Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF). It spearheaded India’s “White Revolution,” transforming the nation into the world’s largest milk producer. With a network of over 3.6 million farmer-members and 112 processing plants, Amul processes more than 12 billion liters of milk annually, generating over ₹90,000 crore (~US $11 billion) in FY 2025
