Established in 2012, Old Kempton Distillery is an artisan spirits producer located in the 1840s colonial coaching inn known as Dysart House in Kempton, Tasmania. The distillery crafts exceptional single malt whiskies, gins, and liqueurs, drawing on traditional, hands-on distillation methods and using exclusively Tasmanian-grown ingredients including barley, water, apples, lavender, and native botanicals.

  • Single Malt Whisky — Made from Tasmanian barley and water, aged in diverse casks (Tawny, Pinot Noir, American Bourbon) for nuanced flavor profiles of caramel, spice, fruit, and toffee.
  • Gin Range — Crafted using local botanicals and unique ingredients, such as lavender from Port Arthur Lavender Farm and Tasmanian apple cider.
